This 12,700-square-foot branch library is located on a dramatic, sloping site near Joe Pool Lake. The library contains a large adult reading room, a youth area, staff workroom spaces, a central lobby/control point, and a community meeting room.
The building is designed internally for maximum flexibility and visual control while capitalizing on the dramatic views and soft, natural, northern light. Externally, the limestone walls and standing-seam metal roof meld compatibly with the natural landscape.
