This first of a kind Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) research center utilizes twin 3.0 Tesla Siemens scanners to simultaneously analyze brains of multiple patients processing the same information— a technique called hyperscanning. An RFI- and magnetically-shielded enclosure surrounds each of the scanner rooms, insulating nearby laboratories, equipment and people from potentially hazardous magnetic fields and radio-frequency interference generated by the MRI scanners. Read More...
