Houston, Texas  (November 15, 2011) – Page Southerland Page, LLP, an international architecture and engineering firm, is pleased to announce that  Jeffrey Bricker, AIA, previously a Senior Vice President in the firm’s Houston office, has been elevated to Associate Principal.

A founding principal of Bricker + Cannady Architects, Jeff merged his practice with PageSoutherlandPage in December 2004, bringing with him award-winning projects such as the Harris County Youth Services Center and the recently completed Harris County Jury Plaza.

Jeff has led large projects for educational, government and business clients, such as the Houston Area Women’s Shelter for HAWC, the Student Recreation and Wellness Center at the University of Houston main campus, the University of Texas at Arlington Maverick Activities Center, over 80 parks as part of the City of Houston’s Parks to Standard Program, development of the Master Plan for the Parks System of Harris County, the Jones Plaza in the downtown Theatre District and Discovery Green. Among his most recent projects are the new West Dining Facility and the 800-bed Cougar Place student housing projects, both at the University of Houston main campus.

Jeff has been a leader in the Houston community and has been involved in the planning, strategy and fundraising for numerous bond elections and local political campaigns. He has served on the boards of Southwest Houston 2000, The Park People, Leadership Houston and the American Red Cross. He has been active with the Greater Houston Partnership, having served as the former chair of the Local Government Relations and Federal Government Relations Committees and as a founding member of the Partnership’s Quality of Life Committee. He also chaired the Sensible Growth Taskforce for the Business Issues Committee. 

Jeff is a graduate of the Leadership Houston Class XIII, and was the recipient of the Patrice Johnson Award in 1995. He was a member of Class XX and is a Senior Fellow in the American Leadership Forum. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from The University of Texas at Austin.
