Duties will include design of a wide range of projects including laboratories, commercial, healthcare, institutional and education buildings and transportation facilities. Candidate shall have experience in designing plumbing systems including: domestic cold water, water treatment, domestic hot water, sanitary drainage and vent, storm drainage, pumping, natural gas distribution, medical and laboratory gas, and other special plumbing systems. Candidate shall also be capable of designing fire protection systems including: wet pipe and dry pipe sprinkler, FM 200, kitchen hood fire suppression system, etc. Other responsibilities include preparation of CAD drawings or REVIT MEP drawings, system design calculations, equipment selections, design reports, and design narratives. Candidate will also be required to coordinate work with the client and engineers of other disciplines, attend meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and communicate with clients to establish their needs and discuss design issues.
